Milk Bottle Collectors/Divco Club of America/Cream Separators Joint Convention

UPDATE: Click here to view the pictures from the 2001 10th Anniversary Convention.

Built from 1925 through 1986, Divco delivery trucks were once as much a part of American life as mom's apple pie and sand-lot baseball games. Early every morning the milkman brought country fresh dairy products to the door: milk, cream for your coffee, and ice cream as well. The truck that replaced his old horse was probably a Divco. Chances are the laundry man, the breadman and maybe even the paperboy's routeman also drove a Divco. They were the quintessential icon of multi-stop services in the 20th Century.

Well, Divcos are still around today--with the collector! On June 1-4, 2000, there was a joint convention of the National Association of Milk Bottle Collectors, the Divco Club of America, and the Cream Separators Collectors at the Holiday Inn in Hershey/Grantville, PA. Here is a list of most of the trucks that were on display--others will be added as pictures are developed. A big thanks to Mike Katsar for providing the digital pictures for us.
