MY VALENTINE PRAYER


I'm looking for a Valentine to come into my heart
To love me and protect me right from the very start.
To hold me tight and comfort me when my heart is sad
To be there when I need him.  To help to make me glad.



I need someone to love me.  I need a hand in mine.
Where are you perfect person? Where are you Valentine?
I need you now to find me.  I need you in my life.
I need your loving kindness to help me with my strife.



I used to have a Valentine.  He completely took my heart.
I yearn for him still now even though we are apart.
You see, he went to Heaven to be with God above
He's safe now in the arms of our Saviour's perfect love.



I need to look no further!!  Why didn't I realize?
I've found the perfect Valentine...a love that never dies.
He comforts and protects and each day he holds me tight.
He hugs my heart to show me that everything's all right.



He's such a Lamb!  He lights my life!  He'll love me to the end.
My Valentine,.my perfect love, my confidant, my friend.
He's been there all along and His arms are open wide.
Oh Lord, my heart is open to let You come inside.



My wish to you dear friends
On this very special day...
Is a love for you to cherish
And a hug to come your way.
