MY LIFE
by Sidney Lynn
My folks told me that ten years ago, in a very weak moment, they just couldn't resist me! I'm told I was sleeping with my eight other siblings with my adorable pink tongue sticking out which made me that much more irresistible. Also, I'm told that I was the only ball player from the whole litter which is pretty good for a 6-week old! When they held me, I was that much more irresistible because I licked my mom's face and she said "Awwwww" which must have been good because they took me home. |
I remember I had my own house with a cover over the
top and feeling very safe there. |

I love to play ball. When I go to Heaven, I'm not going without my ball. Daddy and I played ball together all the time. You might say I was Daddy's little girl...we did just about everything together. I know some tricks, too. And I really like to dig...I've dug lots of holes in my yard. When I was a pup, I began to watch TV. I like to watch animal shows and video tapes of my family. I always know when mom is playing the tapes because I recognize the voices. I also watch the Westminster Kennel Show, but sometimes mom has to put my leash on me. Geez! All I want to do is play with all those pretty dogs! Sometimes when Daddy and I were watching golf on TV, I would chase the little ball into the hole. Darn ball disappeared behind the TV every time! I never could find it. TV is a big thing for me but mom's cut me down to a couple of hours a day. My favorite movie is "Homeward Bound". But just give me a ball and a TV and I'm a happy camper. |
