Friends
What in the world would each of us do
If we didn't have friends who are honest and true.
We'd have no one to laugh with, to plan and to share
Our hopes or our worries, our burdens, our cares
No one to join with as we celebrate.
No one to share with when we're feeling great.
No one to call just to chat on the phone with
No one to try to explore the unknown with.
No one to gather, to go on a trip.
No one to pick us back up when we slip.
No shoulder to cry on when life gets us down
No one to cheer up, when we see them frown.
For friends like a garden need loving and showing.
Friendships like ours where the love keeps growing
We do have each other, and plenty of room
Our friendship's a garden, together we bloom!
