Hello! My name is Barbara , my husband ,Eric, and I live in Dyersburg, Tennessee. This is a small town about 80 miles north of Memphis, Tennessee. We are approx. 25 miles east of Reelfoot Lake, which was formed by an earthquake in the year 1811-12 and named after the Chickasaw Indians that inhabited this area at that time.
I started working on this page in 1998 after the death of my 22 year old daughter, in order to keep me busy and keep my mind occupied. Our many friends on the net, sent me so many beautiful poems and thoughts that I thought it would be great to share them with others. I hope you enjoy them and maybe some of them will touch your heart like they did mine.

Sorry there are no new updates. I have had to have back surgery and it is not to comfortable sitting at the computer. When it gets better, I will add some new stuff.

God saw that you were tired, and a cure was not to be.........
So he put his arms around you, and whispered "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
Golden hearts stopped beating, working hands were put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Here are some of the poems and stories that friends have sent me.

Sign my guestbook and let me know what you think. I'd like to hear from you whether it is good or bad.
You are the
friend to visit with me
May your spirit always fly free!!!
Friends are a very rare jewel.
They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
They lend us an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always open their heart to us.
Treasure every moment that you have!
Remember that time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present!!
