Re: Furby Repair Service Dear Mr. Shiffman: I know you must be very pleased with the overwhelming success of Furby and the way the public has just fallen in love with this little guy. I have personally received a great deal of enjoyment from my Furby and would like to request that Tiger implement a Furby repair program for the following reasons: First, children and adults become very attached to their Furbys and many people do not want to return them, they just want them repaired; Second, as a collector of Furbys, I do not want my collection ruined. If I have to return a 1st edition Furby and get a 3rd edition in return, it ruins my collection; and Third, consumers will likely buy more accessories for their Furbys if they know they can count on them to be around for a long time. As a last resort, I would like to suggest that if the Furby is truly not repairable, Tiger could replace the hardware but maintain the original fur and eye color and then recalibrate the Furby so that the name and voice pitch is the same as the original.
