Both called to missions at a young age, the Stefflers have a great heart for ministry to the Latin American people. Birthed from their own testimonies of God's amazing grace, theirs is a ministry of God's mighty restoration power. Their first long-term missions assignment was to Arequipa, Peru, where they served from 2000 - 2002. Near the end of their term in Peru, they took extended medical leave to the U.S., while Sharon received medical treatments for developing tumors. They arrived in Mexico in February of 2005, where they are serving with World Indigenous Missions (WIM). Click here for more WIM information. Travelling into the remote mountain regions, the Stefflers have established two church plants, which are now being carried on by nationals. In 2006 they felt God's call to the unreached Western Purepechas of Michoacan where they moved in early August 2006, where they are learning the culture, the language, and building relationships to open doors to the Gospel.
