Who am I?

I was born Phyllis Joan Walker in Middletown, Connecticut on
December 20, 1934, at 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Much to my
Mother's dismay or delight, I was a cesarean baby. I remember
being lifted out into the world, but that is another story.

I lived my first 4 years in Ct., then the family moved to Bangor, Maine
for a year. Parents decided to move back to Ct. and promptly got a
divorce.

I quit high school at 16 and foolishly got married. Two years later my
son was born and two years after that I divorced.

Went to night school and got my GED. Following that I attended Moody
School of Commerce, taking all business courses for two years.

Remarried at age 24, resulting in another divorce 4 years later.

I remained single for many years, enjoying life and searching for me,
the real me that no one could take away.

During this time, at age 43, I attended Phoenix, College for three
years. I decided to take things that I had always wanted to do. My
Major was Theater (all aspects.) I was in several plays, was always in
charge of costumes, did some stage design and lighting. Fulfilling
one's childhood dreams even on a small scale, is indeed rewarding.

I also took Photography, Writing and Emergency Medical Technician. I
knew the EMT training would help in the Geriatrics field. I graduated
with honors and a BA Degree. College was a challenge that I enjoyed to
the fullest.

I worked in Geriatrics for 4 years and again found myself restless. I
decided to go to school again and get an CAM degree. This is for
Certified Apartment Management. I did that and managed Apt. complexes
for 4 years.

At this time I was notified that my Uncle had been in a terrible car
accident, killing his wife, my Mother's sister. Of course, I flew back
for the funeral and discovered my Uncle had beginning Alzheimer's and
also Parkinsons disease. I gave up my career in apt. management to go
back and care for him. This lasted almost 4 years till he had to be put
in a nursing home.

Do you see a pattern of 4 repeating itself over and over again? It
turns out that 4 is my fate number in numerology and has led my life in
many twists and turns.

Through the years I have had many unusual things happen in my life. I
have always been drawn to the Metaphysical World. View my page on The
Metaphysical to find out more.
