This family descends from Brunswick, Germany (947 A.D.). Since 1402 lived in other parts of Germany.
In 18 -19 centuries lived in Riga, Latvia, later on - in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have researched all the North Carolina census records at our local Historical Society and through what online resources I could locate. I'm stuck!
I am trying to find an 1830 North Carolina census (unknown which county) that will show the parents of James Worley, born in 1824 in North Carolina. In approximately 1847, James married Anna Stringer of Kentucky (born in 1820). I got his birth and spouse
nformation from an 1860 Crawford County, Missouri census. One of James' sons was named William, one of whose sons was named James, one of whose sons was named Clark (1906-7, Osage County, MO), one of whose daughters was named Ethel (1935, Iron County, MO)
who is my mother.
I am attempting to establish an Old World connection to Ireland (which is what I've always been told is one of this family's origins).
If you can help with census information or any other information on James' birthplace, month, day and parentage, please e-mail me. Your help will be very much appreciated. Thanks

There is some talk of an Uncle CHESTER BALL, possibly had a jewelry store in Boston, MA. He and his wife both had their portraits painted by John Sargeant Singer who also painted portraits of some of the presidents of the United States - must have been we

I am trying to research my family history. Unfortunately this is proving to be a very difficult task as searching seems to be fruitless. The above surnames: Rouszkis and Walinguis are those of my great-grandfather and great-grandmother. I know that they e
migrated to England in 1887 as i have documents concerning this. However upon my enquiries i have found that the surnames may be russified or germanified. I know that when they came to England they became anglicised to Rouskie and Williams. I am trying to
trace the family that they left over in Germany/Lithuania. I know that some of my great-grandfathers relatives moved to a 'displaced person's camp' in Stuttgart and were there in 1948. I would be grateful if anybody had any information that i may find us
ful.

I am searching for a PIRSION family found in the 1850 census-Butler Co., Kentucky.
It reads as follows;
Page 42 Book

John PIERSON age: 39 Born: VA Occupation: Farmer
Ruza age: 37 Born: VA
Nancy age: 14 Born: TN
William age: 13 Born: TN
Howard age: 12 Born: TN
Betsy age: 09 Born: TN
Jane age: 08 Born: TN
James age: 04 Born: TN
Rice age: 02 Born: KY*
I think that their daughter Nancy is really NANCY ADELINE PIERSON, who married by GG Grandfather Landon HARRISON.
Per the 1880-Census, Butler Co., Kentucky it shows the following information.
Landon HARRISON Born: NC Fathers birth place: NC Mothers: VA Occupation: Blacksmith
Nancy A Born: VA Fathers birth place: VA Mothers: VA
George Born: KY
Nancy Born: KY
Robert Born: KY
John Born: KY
Myrtie Born: KY
Ida Born: KY
Jimmi Born: KY
I think the Nancy A is my Nancy Adeline PIERSON. It shows that both her mother and father were born in Virginia which agree's with the 1850 census above.
P.S. I know that Landon HARRISON and Nancy A PIERSON had a son by the Name of George Thomas HARRISON, which was my Great Grandfather.
George Thomas HARRISON was born Dec. 5, 1855 in Berry's Lick, Butler County, Kentucky.
He married Nancy Ann Francis ALLISON, the daughter of John ALLISON and Mary MERRIMAN.
Nancy Ann Francis ALLISON was born Nov. 25, 1862 in Smith County, Tennessee.
If anyone has any information on the HARRISON, PIERSON, ALLISON, OR MARRIMAN I would appreciate the help. Landon HARRISON and Nancy A PIERSON are my block walls.
Thank you, and good luck to all in their search.
