The Reverend MALACHI JONES immigrated from Wales with his wife and children. He founded Abington Presbyterian Church in Abington Township, PA, in what is now Montgomery Co., just north of Philadelphia, in 1711. His son BENJAMIN moved to Bucks County and was a state legislator and justice of the peace of that county. Benjamin married Catherine Kroesen and had many children including HENRY, my direct-line ancestor who moved with his wife and children to Baltimore County, MD in about 1784. Henry bought property there, a part of "Plains of Paran" in what is now the Harrisonville/Randallstown area.

Some of the Maryland Families I'm researching are: ODELL - Thomas Odell and Sarah Ridgely and their descendants PRICE - Thomas Price who immigrated to Maryland with the Ark & Dove Expedition of 1634 FORD - Thomas Ford and his wife Leah Price, Baltimore County. Especially their son William b: 1721 and his son John BEALL - James Beall and his daughter Margaret, wife of Thomas Odell, Jr. In Tennessee: HOWARD, FORD, JONES, PATTERSON, PHILLIPS, KELLEY, TAYLOR, GASS and WITT of Hamilton, Rhea, Bradley and Roane Counties. My Pennsylvania Families are: The JONES's, KROESEN's, BENNETT's, ANDERSON's, PARRY's, HUNTER's, BOWEN's and EVAN's lived in the Bucks, Chester, Philadelphia and Montgomery Co. area. Alabama Families: Sulligent, in Lamar Co. was home to the HILL's, THOMPSON's, HANKINS, TARWATER's.
