The photos above are of me (Gloria
Conn), my mama (Velma Polk-deceased), my daughter (Kay Marie )
and my granddaughters (Katrina 19 and Shayla 15). My new granddaughter, Lindsay was born March 23, 1999. She is two days old in the first picture and 4 months old in the last picture. I hope to get a photo of my son-in-law, Cliff, and my step-father, Vernon Polk, in the near future.
I was born and raised in Arkansas, but
have lived over 32 years in Johnson City, TX. My immediate family
also lives in Johnson City. The photo of my mom was taken when she was in her twenties. She went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 1996. We loved her and miss her very much.
My Dad, Forrest B. Arnold, a
retired Landmark Missionary Baptist minister passed away March 27, 1999 at the age of 86. My mom had been
married to my step-father, Vernon A. Polk, Jr, for over 31 years
at the time of her death. He survives her. My step-father, Vernon A. Polk, Jr. passed away September 29, 2000.
I have a full brother, John Arnold,
three half-brothers, (Forrest B., J.C., and Phillip Arnold) and a
stepbrother (David Polk). My brothers are all married and have
children.
