I do not worship a hip-bone like a pagan savage in Africa. The head of Blessed Oliver Plunkett has been preserved because of the miracles associated with it and because he is a martyr. Thanks for coming to visit my site. First of all where in Scripture do we see Christians worshipping and praying to the bits of dead believers? Is this a Christian example or does it come from somewhere else? Secondly, I don't condone murder and certai ly don't believe that it is a Christian response no matter who is using the name "Jesus." Thirdly, I don't worship Luther. He was only a man.

I will stand for Jesus but not for a religion of man's effort. I don't think that telling people who don't agree with you to "get out" is really following Jesus example. He didn't tell the opposition of his day to leave. He let them go on in their fol y but gave them an opportunity to change. Mind you the day will come when he will say to those religious people who have not turned to Him alone "away from me you evil doers, I never knew you." - Mtt 7:21-23. It's not about being religous but about trusti g in and knowing Jesus personally. You may be prepared to die for Catholicism but would you be prepared to die for Jesus? I know that there are Catholics who really trust in Jesus alone for salvation. I don't know why they stay in the Catholic Church but hat is their business not mine. Why not become one of them, trusting in Jesus alone? The important thing here is Jesus not what Church we go to. No Church can save us. Certainly not my Church and not yours either. Only Jesus died to pay for us.

Thanks for visiting my site. There are many things that disturb us in life. Sometimes we need to be disturbed. There are many things about Catholicism that I would also find offensive and disturbing and about other religions and practices at large in t e world. Such is the world we have to live in unfortunately. We must be able to agree to disagree with each other, that is the essense of tolerance. It does not mean we have to all believe the same thing.

The word of God is talking about condemnation type of judgement. I am not to condemn. However, we are all called to make judgements about truth and error. I believe that the practice going on in Drogheda to be idolatrous and so wrong. It is not my plac to condemn anyone. I am no better. I also am not perfect and cannot boast. I sense though that you might be judging me?

I do reject the assertion that the Catholic Church has preserved Christianity. I believe over the years it has distorted real Christianity and substituted a religion of self effort for it. As if we could ever be good enough! This I find offensive. In s ying that I also believe that there are real Christians still in the Catholic Church though only a minority. Why not study the Bible (God breathed as in it came from God not the Church - 2Tim 3:16; 2Pet 1:21) with an open mind and come into the Church of hich Jesus is the head?

Great stuff Rob. How can people say you're not Christian! The patience you show here, with those who still think (I daren't use the word 'believe') that they will enter the Kingdom of Heaven through good works, is in my view a definite proof! "The only wa to the Father is through Me" says it all. That we do good is only a result of our accepting Christ in our life and the Holy Spirit that He has left with us till the day He returns. It is through grace and grace alone that we are saved. In accepting Chris in our heart, He opens the way to the Kingdom. For all Catholics, it's great that you do good works, keep it up, but do it for the right reason: Be a Christian, do the good works as a result, not a means. As for you Rob & Rita: Keep it going. It's not very Christlike of you to down the Catholic Church. How can you say you are a Christian, and judge another?. Your elitest mentality denies your faith. Thanks for visiting my site. First of all I believe that all religions are wrong. They all have the same thing in common and that is man attempting to arrive at some level of achievement by his own effort for whatever reason. Jesus, on the other hand, ays that we can never reach the stage required by God (to be as perfect as God is - Matthew 5:48). Jesus said that he is the only way to God and that if we do not come through him we do not come to God - John 14:6. The Apostles said the same thing- Acts 4 12 and 1Timothy 2:5,6. It is not the Church I go to that can save anyone but only Jesus and putting your confidence in him alone. He will do it for you. In fact he has already done it on the cross 2000 years ago.

Am I really full of hate? Then how exactly? I am not against Catholics but I am against what they believe. I have many Catholic friends. They believe what they want but I don'thave to agree with it. They don't have to agree with me. However, we must all a ree with God. Jesus says that you must be born again.

I will not come back as anything because after death comes judgement! If you do not change your attitude to the God of the Bible and to your sin you will be found guilty and thrown into the lake of fire. That is not God's desire and he would not deligh in it. He has provided the way of escape and it is Jesus who basically took your punishment, your hell for you so that you can go free, forgiven. Reject his great salvation and how will you escape? What if the spirit or Mary comes and says something from God. Wouldn't God send something that we would understand and could identify like Mary the Mother of God or an angel (Michael or Gabriel). Anything Mary has said is from God because God wouldn't let Her say anything against God. And if it is a devil or demon in disguise wouldn't it disappear when we made the sign of the cross or prayed to it. Thanks for coming back to vist again. Your questions are very interesting and I am glad you are asking them. Yes, God has sent something we can understand and identify with -- the Bible. It's all in there, warts and all. It's encouraging to see men of od fail and yet receive forgiveness and move on with God. I would not doubt that Mary would tell the truth. The truth would be in keeping with the Word already revealed. Therefore, I don't believe the revelations are Mary at all but rather an imposter. Th t is a deceiver -- Satan or one of his demons.

If you make the sign of the cross so what! That is going to do nothing (Acts 19:14-16). Pray to it is what it wants. Your attention has been drawn away from Jesus and that is the whole idea of Satan. He wants us caught up in other things -- any other hings. He most certainly does not want us being in touch with Jesus.

Yes, I am a fundamentalist, isn't everybody really? You are fundamentally comitted to the idea that these revelations are from God. The Priest is fundamentally comitted to the Catholic Church. The Liberal is fundamentally committed to the idea that the e are no fundamentals, etc. You have turned to other men who have also been deceived. If you want to be sure of what is true you can only be sure of what God says. "Let God be true and every man a liar."

Well, the priests are often afraid of me and cannot answer the most basic of questions like "Why did Jesus have to die on a wooden cross?" "Why did Jesus have to die for my sin if I still have to be good enough?" I like to talk with them if they will t lk with me but I am comitted to the Word of God first and foremost. Is that wrong? It sounds like your priest is saying it is wrong. So what is he committed to then if not the Word of God first and foremost?

Thanks for coming back to vist again. The idea that the devil can appear as an angel of light and therefore deceive those to whom he appears, comes from 2Corinthians 11:14. It was written to the believers. In 2Thessalonians 2:9-12 we see that the decep ion in the last days will include all sorts of powerful delusions which "God" will send. This happens to those who refuse to accept the truth. Who is Jesus? He said "I am the way, the truth and the life." I'm sure you remember that.

The Question is are you a true believer? Are you putting your hope in anything or anyone other than Jesus? Peter said that Salvation is found in noone else because there is no other name, under heaven, given to men by which we must be saved -Acts 4:12

1John 4:1 - "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Again there is the warning. So how do you know and tell the difference? You can only igure it out by seeing if it is in agreement with the Scripture. If you go by just what people say you will be deceived. You must look it up for yourself. You have that responsibility before God. It's His word and he gave it to us. We are bound by that wo d. Check it out and see for yourself.

Thanks for coming back to vist again. I find it interesting that you are looking to other sources outside the Bible to confirm what you are saying. God never changes, he is the same through all eternity. If some new revelation comes along it must be te ted. If it is from God it will be in agreement with what God has already said because he does not change (Malachi 3:6). The One who guides the servants of God according to the Scripture is the Holy Spirit - John 14:26. Clearly you are listening to a diffe ent spirit. Indeed, we are warned that Satan appears as an angel of light. He is hard to spot because he is a deceiver by nature.

If what you believe is not in keeping with the clear teaching of the Scripture then it is not from God no matter what apparition or miracle has happened. The Scripture warns of many false prophets doing many false miracles to decieve many. People are eceived by whatever they want to believe, if they refuse the truth. The Scripture interprets the vision not the vision the scripture. The same goes for our experiences, they must be subjected to the light of the Scripture to see if they are from God or so e other source.

Jesus is the only meditor between man and God (1Timothy 2:5,6). Why not put your trust in Him alone? Why not listen to the one who created the real Mary? Why not listen to the one who is your creator and judge?

Thanks for coming back to vist again. As for Mary suffering and offering up her son, etc. This lacks any Biblical foundation at all. It is based on some wild ideas but not on the truth of God's Word. These statements are wild suppositions and nothing more.

Many may call Mary the Queen of Heaven. I would call her a signpost to Jesus because the only command she gave was to "do whatever he tells you." the Queen of heaven is mentioned in Scripture in Jeremiah 7:18 "The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger." What can I say? Not recommended!

You say that the "Holy Father" has said that Mary is the one with influence with Jesus implying that we should go to her. (The term " Holy Father" refers to God alone. Anyone else using that name is a fraud and a deceiver.) Do you remember what Jesus said in John 14:6? Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me. I assume Jesus got it right. If you go anywhere else you will not come to the Father. Your "Queen of Heaven" will bring you to deception but not to Jesus and certainly not to the Father.

As for the Scriptures. Gen 3:15 Doesn't mention Mary but the seed of Eve and that seed is refered to as "He". In LUKE 2.34_35 to say that Mary suffered with Jesus is taking too much out of this verse. It says that she would have a sword pierce her soul. It does not say that she suffered for the sin of the world. As for JOHN 19.26_27 Jesus gave his mother to John. It doesn't say the world, your conclusion is wild to say the least. As for the prayer you offer, I personally believe it to be idolatrous. God will not share his glory with another. Jesus is glorified because he is God. Mary is not. She was a servant of God, highly favoured AMONG women, also a sinner needing a saviour - Luke 1:47.

Thanks for your comments. No, I'm not part of William Branham's Church. I am an evangelical with a concern that people come to know Christ through the "Message of the Cross" because it is the power of God for salvation acco ding to Romans 1:16 and 1Corinthians 1:21 in particular. Also I am concerned because many Christians have lost faith in the power of the message and I am trying to rekindle their lost faith. I will email you later.

Thanks for visiting my site again. Check out John's gospel Chapter 1 verses 1 to 5 then have a look at Jesus comments at the end of John chapter 8. Jesus is the creator, He is God, He saw Abraham and I do believe that the Catholic Church used to hold t the Apostles Creed. Maybe you don't but I think you should have a word with your priest about it. You are quite misled as to what the Catholic Church believes. Have you never heard of the Trinty? Father, Son and Holy Ghost? It's not Father, Mother and Ho y Ghost.

Thanks for visiting my site again. Well, did I say you are a fool? It is the one who says in his heart that there is no God who is the fool. However, I am interested in knowing what Bible you are talking about. I use a Catholic Bilbe on occasions mysel . I have two different Catholic translations and have never heard of what you are referring to. Maybe you could enlighten me with the reference to what you are talking about.

I think it strange all the praise of Mary in place of Jesus. Let us not f rget that it was Jesus who created Mary to begin with. The Bible I am using is reliable and really not as different as you make out. In fact the only one that (that I am aware of at this time)is a distortion in wide spread use is the New World translation of the Jehovah's False Witnesses. Why not check out the Catholic Bible for yourself and see the truth first hand. Jesus is the only mediator between man and God 1Tim 2:5. Why not check him out?

Thanks for visiting my site. It's not that I have a cheek but I have a Bible that tells me that people are "born again ... through the living and enduring word of God" according to Peter (who some think to have been the first Pope.) Faith comes from he ring the word of Christ Rom 10:17. How does a baby hear the word and believe?

A person is born again when they change their mind about God, who they are themselves and also decide to trust in Jesus alone for forgiveness and righteousness not in thier life, goodness or good things done. When they trust in him, knowing that he di d to pay for their sins and rose again on the third day, that is when they get born again. Jesus spoke about it in John's gospel chapter 3. He says that as the wind blows wherever it pleases but you cannot see it so it is with the man who has been born o the Spirit. You can see that it has happened but you cannot see how or when. So how could you be so sure that it happens at baptism? If it happened at baptism you would know exactly when it happened wouldn't you? Indeed that is what you are saying. In John 1:12,13 it says that those who trust in Jesus are the ones who become children of God, born of God but not by human decision -- you can't make it happen. Babies cannot do that.

Why not change your mind, stop trusting in religious stuff, trust only in Jesus and let it happen? It wasn't the Church that died for you but Jesus. It isn't Mary that can save you but only Jesus (John 14:6), He is the only way, if you go to anyone els you will not come to the Father but to deception. Why not trust in him alone. You would have nothing to lose and everything to gain. He will never let you down.

There are many who call themselves Christians and are "Christian" in name only. The Biblical understanding of a Christian is that they are born again. A lot of people are unaware of this but have a look at what Jesus said in the beginning of John 3 and what Peter wrote in 1Peter 1:23. If someone is a real Christian they have been born again by definition. That is not something to boast about but something to be thankful for. It is so because it is something that God does it is not something that we can eserve. Why not get born again like Peter (Whom Catholics are supposed to obey) said?

I'm deeply offended at your page on Catholocism. I'm a christian by every definition of the word. My religion is Christian, I was born a christian and I will die a christian.
