The April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was a tragedy to victims, survivors and families of the blast. It violated the security and safety we as Americans hold dear. If such a crime could occur in rural America, it could occur anywhere in the United States. The person or persons responsible must be held accountable for the destruction and loss of life for the 168 victims, 19 of which were children.

City leaders of Oklahoma City have worked for the past three years to put together a memorial site for these victims. This is the proposed drawing of that site. It IS under construction:))

          memorial

"We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave here know the impact of violence. may this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity."

**Living less than 30 miles from this site and working in Oklahoma City, I took my own photos of the bombing site. Here they are:)
