Family Photos

There's a funny story to get you started regarding our photos.  In late March of 2005, we were experiencing a late spring (groundhog must have seen his shadow), with quite a bit of snow still on the ground.  Jeremy (age 3 1/2) opened the sliding door and went outside to play on the swings.  Lisa, preoccupied with preparing dinner, asked Rachel if he had his jacket and boots on.  "Yes," she replied.  A few minutes later, Lisa looked out the window, and this is what she saw: Jeremy, with just his jacket and boots!  She quickly ran out with our Kodak DX3900 and snapped a few pictures.  However, after 2 years, the poor Kodak (which had taken so many great pictures) had lost its focus and apparently had developed cataracts.  Anyhow, we found a great deal at Costco on the Canon Rebel EOS 6.5 Megapixel SLR, and boy does it take great photos!  The ones on our web site are shrunk down, otherwise each picture is 3MB.  Well, the Canon is a whole different class of camera, and so far we have decided we need to go to school to learn how to use it properly!
