Primarch, owned by Gary Gleeson, is an Australian National Kennel Council/ Canine Association of Western Australia (Inc) registered breeder and complies with all National Rottweiler Council (Australia) requirements.
The pup at left is Primarch Debras Kaie (Rocky) awarded "1998 Rottweiler Puppy of the Year" by the official Rottweiler Breed Club for Western Australia.
Click here to see Primarch's breeding aims. A breed enthusiast rather than puppy farmer, Gary only breeds occasionaly, primarily for his own purposes and to improve the breed. Gary is confident that he is well on the way to achieving these aims. Primarch puppies tend to sell very very quickly when available. Most litters are completely sold within days of birth. What this means is that if you want a Primarch pup you need to be on Gary's list to be advised when a litter is expected.
Gary is a member of the West Coast Rottweiler Club of Western Australia (Inc), The Rottweiler Club of Victoria (Inc), The Rottweiler Club of South australia (Inc) and the Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler Klub - e.V. (ADRK). He is a former Treasurer, National Rottweiler Council (Australia) Delegate and Senior Agility Instructor of WCRC.
Although holding no current positions Gary is still active in breed affairs. He is the List Owner of "Rottweilers Australia and New Zealand" the premier grouping of Rottweiler Breeders anywhere in Australasia.
Gary has competed regularly in working trials and conformation shows. He is a qualified Canine Association of Western Australia Ring, Assembly and Gate Steward. He was Ring Steward at the 2005 Australian Rottweiler National Championship Show held in Victoria. He is also a qualified Obedience and Senior Agility Instructor.
Primarch's great hope for the future is Primarch Velvet Delite a daughter of V Rated Primarch Debras Questie and V1 Rated Borgotti Forges Finale. Showing great potential from the moment she opened her eyes, several people wanted to buy her but Gary refused to sell her to anyone for any price. Gary had selected Velvet to be his new personal working dog after the death of his beloved Stacey from old age. Velvet confirmed Gary's faith in her when she made an impressive public debut at the 2006 Australian Rottweiler National Championship Show held in Perth, winning VP2 in the Baby Bitch class, despite being the youngest exhibit, only a few days over the minimum age for entry! Despite this you will only see her in the show ring on rare occasions as Gary prefers to work with his dogs. Velvet is now training for Herding, Tracking, and Obedience and showing considerable ability in all three disciplines.
Velvet's Dam, V Rated Primarch Debras Questie (Quest) is a daughter of V1 Jahwohl Titans Sparticus (Sparky) and Deitzrot Dandi Debutante. Quest was only lightly shown owing to the birth of Gary's own children but achieved V2 at the Australian Rottweiler National Championships in 2001. Quest is one of those girls that just loves being a mum but has now well and truly done her bit for the breed. She is the Dam of Primarch's R Litter , T Litter, U Litter , V Litter and W Litter .
Velvet's sire is V1 Rated Borgotti Forges Finale.. “Forge” is a powerful male and has passed the National Rottweiller Council (Australia)'s Breed Survey under Josef Mavrik of Slovakia. The last naturally conceived son of one of Australia’s top show winning Rottweilers, Multi V Rated, Multi BIS, Multi BISS, Australian Grand Champion Blackcombe La Forge V1 CDX ET. Geordi was one of 4 full brothers bred by Roberta Veale of Blackcombe Rottweilers who became Australian Champions. Two of the brothers including Geordi went on to achieve “Grand Champion” status. Gary might be a bit biased but along with Forge's breeders he thinks Geordi’s last act was his best!!!!!!!!!!! Forge is the Sire of Primarch's V Litter and W Litter .
Then of course there is Zac, a Staffi X Kelpie X Pocket Rocket, now retired and living with Gary's brother but once a member of the Pal Superdog Team.
