He says, "Hello. My name is Darian. Welcome to the meadow. I take care of the animals that live here. They are always happy to receive visitors, so if you will just step along this way, I'll show them to you."
Green grass stretches as far as the eye can see. Your feet make no sound as you wander through this empty looking meadow. Suddenly there is a light, almost unheard chuckle. You spin around, all your senses on alert, and see.. nothing. This time you hear a mischevious giggle off to your left. Quickly, you run to the source of the sound and part the grass. An elf boy smiles impishly up at you.
He says, "Hello. My name is Darian. Welcome to the meadow. I take care of the animals that live here. They are always happy to receive visitors, so if you will just step along this way, I'll show them to you."
You pass a family of lovely aquamarine unicorns.
Darian points to each unicorn in turn, "That's the father over there, he's called Spirit. The mare's name is Waterweaver and the foal is Cloudmist."
A wild cream pony gallops past.
Darian says, "That's Dilkara. He loves racing with the others and often wins the races too.Get your own pony at Nightstorm Stables."
A little cloud of rainbow colours floats by. It recites a little poem in a tinkly voice as you stand and watch it. You feel uplifted and happy as the poem ends.
"That's our very own rainbow spirit." Darian says.
Finishing the tour, the elf boy vanishes back into the grass after a wave and saying "Bye, enjoy yourself!".
A little piece of paper has been set onto a cute little table of woven grass. You wonder why you didn't notice it earlier. Picking it up, you see that it is a birth certificate:
You see a faint trail leading from the meadow to a forest.
