How Patches got her name

Well we had successfully adopted Rosie and got to take her out of her cage and bring her home.

Susan took her leash and we lead her out the door and into the parking lot. I opened the door for Susan to get in and the two of them climbed into the front seat.
The entire ride home the dog didn't stop shaking and didn't move from Susan's lap.

On the ride home we started to think about a name for our new found friend. Rosie was just not going to do. Susan being Susan, said how about "Muffin." My natural instincts kicked in and saw myself walking this dog around Manhattan at six in the morning "yelling come on Muffin." I responded with an immediate NO.

We went back and forth on some names, each of us disagreeing for whatever reason. We finally came up with Patches since she was obviously a Hienz 57 Mutt, and had patches of different colored fur.
