I'm not at my computer with a scanner so I can't put any new pictures up, I promise I will.  Instead, how about a few Patches stories?!
 

• Patches had a great Christmas, I think she got more presents than I did ! She wouldn't leave us alone while we were all opening our gifts, she kept running into the den to check on her stocking with her presents. She had a good time opening all of them, her favorite was rawhide basket filled with rawhide treats that Susan had gotten her.  Her all time favorite toy still remains a squeeky Sylvester toy Susan had bought her a long time ago.
• Patches spent about a week vacationing in Vermont between Christmas and New Years.
• We had a close call with her over the holidays, she was playing pretty hard with the empty wrapping paper tubes. Throwing them around, and jumping to get them, she took a pretty bad fall, after jumping for one, she was probably about two feet off the ground, and landed wrong.  She started limping pretty bad, so I took her to the vet, and he said it was either a sprain, or she may have torn her cruciet ligament in her knee, which would require open knee surgery and physical therapy to repair.  He told us to keep her sedate and watch her for two weeks. If the limp didn't go away they would have to sedate her and do x-rays and maybe an MRI.  Do you know what it is like to keep a dog that acts like she drinks way too much coffee sedate for two weeks is like ?  Well we made it and lucky for all, it ended up being just a sprain.
