" and then there was Jigga: blessin' soundtrack joints, rollin' with Mariah Carey, writing joints for Foxy Brown and Puffy, featuring on more songs than all the members of Wu-Tang put together. From out of nowhere, platinum was the jewelry of choice and if you didn't have a Bentley you weren't driving with the ballas; not to mention the hit list of albums and songs."

"As you all can see, i'm a BIG Jay-Z fan. That's why when I decided to make a website, I knew I just had to have a little corner set up for myself and my fellow Jigga Man fans. I'm a fan of his music as well as a fan of him as an entertainer. Not to mention, we're from the same place, BROOKLYN!! BROOKLYN!!

His combination of precise diction, conversation flow, anectodal lyrics, storytelling and laid back Brooklyn cool set him apart from just about every other rapper that blessed a mic. Even for the haters who don't' like his materialism or his style, there is at least one record where he got you open.

The same man who made "Money Ain't a Thang" also made "D'evils" and "You Must Love Me", and his anthems: "Ain't No Nigga", "Hard Knock Life" (Ghetto Anthem), "Jigga My Nigga" and "Can I Get a ..." make ya rhyme right along.

Aside from the late Notorius B.I.G, I think Jay-Z's music is the essence of what Brooklyn street life is all about. He is the only rapper out now reppin' BK to the fullest and I love him for that. I don't know about the rest of ya'll but I know when I listen to the "Reasonable Doubt" album, I can close my eyes & just reminisce about back in the day runnin' around Brooklyn like a wild child. I have to say, Reasonable Doubt is my favorite Jay-Z album out of them all, eventhough they're all bangin'. Anyway, if ya'll love Jay-Z as much as I do, then read on thru the page and if you have any comments or suggestions for my site, email me please."
