Hello Everyone!! Welcome to my home page. Come on in, take your shoes off, and make yourself at home. If you haven't figured it out yet, my name is Sonyia and I am 29 years old and currently I reside in the murder capital of the world....Memphis, Tennessee. I'm a little over six feet tall and I weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 pounds. Growing up, people called me nicknames like "Olive Oyl" and "Pink Panther" because I've always been tall and skinny with big feet. Most people have to work hard to lose weight but I have to work really hard to gain it. I hated being skinny when I was growing up, but now I love having this long and lean body. Lol. So anyway, the first question I'm usually asked by strangers is, "What is your race?" Well let's just say I always check the African-American/Black box when I fill out forms even though I could be considered multi-racial. Another question I'm asked often is have I ever considered going into modeling. Modeling is something that I have thought about doing in the past, but after much consideration I decided that it just wasn't for me. And no I don't play basketball or any other sport for that matter either. I'm just not into any of those things. Ready for my boring life story? Well, I was born and raised in a small town in Southeast Arkansas. I was a straight A student all throughout school and somewhat of a child prodigy. I skipped the second grade and graduated high school in 1995 at age 16 as the Valedictorian with an academic scholarship to Arkansas State University. Unfortunately college life was too much for me to handle at that young of an age and I had no self discipline as do most 16 year olds. I spent way too much time partying and socializing when I should have been going to class and studying. I eventually dropped out and moved to Memphis in 1997 where I have pretty much lived ever since. I never did finish that college degree which is something that I regret, but I have finally decided to go back to school in the spring of '08 and I couldn't be more excited. I am also a single mother of an nine year old son named Tyler who's in the fourth grade. Here's a picture of my little man.
