Help Support Girl Scouting!
We were the first Girl Scout troop from our council (Girl Scout Council of Central Louisiana) to have our own website!!
There are ten girls in our troop.
We are first and second grade students in LaSalle parish (Louisiana.)
This is our first year as Girl Scouts.
Our troop is a member of Service Unit 080 (LaSalle.)
Our Leader is Ms.
Darla;
our Assistant Leaders are
Ms. Adrian & Ms. Beth.
Our troop mascot is Amity, a pelican.
We love girl scouting! It's lots of fun! We make new friends and do stuff to help people. We're planning to go to neat places and learn all kinds of new things. Sometimes we do special activities that help us earn a Try-It patch for our uniforms. We love the patches because we can show-off what we've done. The first things we learned about girl scouting were the girl scout promise and law.

We are Girl Scout Brownies. Being a Brownie is very special. Ms. Darla read us a story about Brownies and told us why we are called Brownies. Being a Brownie means being a helper. We should try to help others and do a good deed every day.
It's Girl Scout Cookie Order Taking Time!!! We sure do have to work hard if we want to meet our goals! We want to go to the Aquarium of the Americas and on a troop campout!
We've been learning all about Australia for Thinking Day! We LOVE it!! We "met" a unit of Gumnut Guides - they're the same age as we are. We have asked them lots of questions! They have the funniest words for things! Their leader, Ms. Sally has sent us a lot of pictures that we will be able to use for our Thinking Day booth. Our service unit is doing a Thinking Day Fair - each troop will have a booth for a different country and each Girl Scout will receive a passport that we have to get stamped at all the booths! It'll be so much fun! Our booth is going to be the best one there! :o)
Ms. Darla read notes from Amity I & II. They both got to see snow!!

If you want to be a Girl Scout, all you need to do is get in touch with someone at your Girl Scout Council or visit the GSUSA Website. Girl Scouts need help from grown-ups too. Grown-ups can help by being leaders or assistants or by helping at meetings - they read stories, help with crafts, teach us new things, bring snacks, and all kinds of things! You don't have to have a daughter in Girl Scouts to be an adult helper. If you can help Girl Scouts, contact your local Girl Scout Council.
NOTE: Although all websites are constantly under construction, this one truly is under construction!! Some of the links may not be working yet, because I haven't finished all of the pages in the initial design. Please be patient and check back often!
