This page is about the Area 51 PC game and the real Area 51.
Area 51 is a secret military installation in the Nevada Desert. It is also called Groom Lake and Dreamland. It is told that they do things with aliens and their spaceships. The most famous of all alien wrecks is the Roswell Incident. In Roswell, New Mexico, it is said that a spaceship crashed and was recovered by the military. They then took it to Groom Lake and it turned out that there were five alien bodies recovered along with it. Four of them died in the crash, and the other survived for a few days, but then died. It is also told that they did an alien autopsy on one of the bodies. The autopsy was recorded and produced as "An Alien Autopsy".

The Arcade game "Area 51" was made into a computer game shortly after it's success in the Arcades. The plot is that an alien probe was recovered and taken to the base. Shortly after, all contact with the base was lost and it was assumed that an unknown alien force had taken control. You, a member of the the S.T.A.A.R. (SPECIAL TACTICAL ADVANCED ALIEN RESPONSE) team has been trained for this situation. Basicly, you have get into the base and kill all of the aliens. Below are some ways to get to the Secret Rooms and a really cool cheat.

When you start the game (at the beginning), ONLY shoot the first three S.T.A.A.R. agents. DO NOT FIRE AT ANYTHING ELSE! Once you do, the game will restart and you will be playing as an alien! You will still shoot the other aliens, but a lot of things will be different like the bullets, grenades, ranks, health, and your vision. You will also get a lot more points for killing aliens, shooting things,and blowing up things.
To activate, shoot all of the windows on the outside of Hanger 18. Two windows can only be shot when the screen is scrolling to the right, past the hanger.
When you enter Hanger 18, shoot as many windows above you to the right as you can. Later, when you get on the fork lift, you have to shoot the windows when it scrolls right. Then, shoot any windows left seen. When the screen scrolls back left, point at the remaining windows and shoot them when the screen completes scrolling.
Shoot the three blue lights when the first missile guy is shooting at you. One is in the upper left corner; the other two yo shoot after you go around the capsized truck. They are on the right side of the screen and you can only shoot them when the screen is scrolling. You get another chance after the Stats Screen when the screen scrolls to the right.
When you are in the jeep at the first stop, shoot all the cockpits' windshields on the F-15 planes. Shoot a total of three.. Then the windshield on the big C-5 plane.
In the ADMIT building, Shoot both of the Picture Frames on the 1st and 2nd desktops. Then, shoot the two name plates on the doors of the offices that you go into.
Just after you get the power-up in Hanger 18, shoot all the windows along the far wall. Shoot all the windows as you walk along to the right.
Shoot all the paintings on the walls of the ADMIT building. There is one in the 2nd General's office.
On the level before the last, you will come to 2 or 3 zombies throwing barrels. Blow up all of the explosive barrels except the ones that they are throwing.
While you are on the fork lift, shoot all the barrels (every last one).
When you are in the first hallway of the ADMIT building, shoot all three ceiling lights and the EXIT sign.
On the first screen in the control room, shoot all of the computer screens. A total of 13.
When the underground explosive room raises, shoot all visible explosives.
