Info on São Paulo FC

São Paulo FC was officially established in December 16, 1935. But the club who preceeded it (and conquered the Paulista League title in 1931) was technically the same club. São Paulo has 18 Paulista League titles, 3 Brazilian championships and 2 South America and World titles. Although the last Paulista League title was in 1992, São Paulo still has the best title/year average.

The Stadium is Cícero Pompeu de Toledo also known as Morumbi. The capacity was 150.000 fans until early 1990s, but after the repairs it will comport no more than 90.000 people. São Paulo also plays home games at the city stadium Paulo Machado de Carvalho (Pacaembu).
