General Problems
I'm always getting error message, what am I doing wrong?
There are a number of reasons that you may be getting error messages. Things to keep in mind are:
Results and only archived for 27 days, Entries and Programs for 7 days. If you are trying to search for a date earlier that that, we may no longer have the data archived.
The date pull-down stands for the day of the current month or previous month.
If every query for a specific track seems to fail, it may because we made a typo or the page refering you to this search engine has a typo. Check the track name in the "Search Again" track pull-down and compare it to the menu of the pull-down on the page that originally refered you to this engine. Case is important here. If there's a typo on the original page, please notify the author of that page about the typo. While the DRF welcomes others to include references to this engine on their own pages, we bear no responsibility for typos they have made.
Sometimes data for a specific track is missing or late. This is rare, but it does happen.
There are a few tracks (especially smaller Canadian tracks) that we may not cover online. If enough people send messages to webmaster@drf.com asking for a specific track, we usually can get the data.
Using this search engine on your web pages
The DRF welcomes you to include references to this engine on your own web pages. Simply copy the source code for one of the forms on the bottom of this page. Feel free to modify the layout of the form and to remove any of the menu items that you don't feel are appropriate for your web page.
