What is love but a four letter word but, 
Oh what a powerful word love is.

It can unfold as an umbrella to hold back the rain.

It can absorb like a sponge your many tears of pain.

It can shine through the depths of the darkest night.

It can comfort you so that you know that
everything will be all right.

It can be a compass though life's confusion.

It can be a teacher to put to rest all the illusion.

It can move mountains or calm an angry sea.

It can bring people together to be all that they can be.

It can remove distance when someone special
is far away.

It can say it all when there is nothing left to say.

It can change your hopes and dreams.

It can be a shoulder  to lean on,
when your all alone it seems.

It can change time or make it stand still. 

It can do so many things if you only believe it will.
