I've supported Del Piero for a year.The first time for me to know about this guy was in the commercial advertisement of Adidas.He scored the only goal in that "copied men" match.I know he's a good football player through the games I watch of Juventus and then I started supporting him.

About The World Cup

Team Italy was defeated by team France in the World Cup!!!It's really the worst news for the Italy supporter like me!I've watched all the games of Italy in the World Cup and I was quite disappointed because Del Piero cannot return to his best condition in the games.I think it's really a bad experience for him.He was badly affected by his injury and so he couldn't play well in the World Cup.Many people think that he's not good enough to play for Italy,but I have the opposite opinion.Although he could not enter a goal for Italy,he attracted many defenders to follow him.If you had watched the games of Italy,you'll think that I'm right.I've counted that the attacks from the opposite team was mainly against Del Piero.In the game against Austria,I've counted that the player of No.8 has offended Del Piero for 5 times!The attacks against Del Piero is one of the most serious players in Italy.If Del Piero is not a dangerous player,I suppose no one would offend him.The above is not the official counts and it's just a silly counts by me.^.^Actually,I do agree that Del Piero didn't play well in the World Cup.I really hope that he'll return to the highest condition in the games of Juventus.Best wishes to him!!!

Del Piero is very very important to the team as it can be shown by the data above. The results of 18 matches without Del Piero were 4 win, 7 draws and 7 loss. I don't mean that Del piero is the only player in Juve but I just want to say that Del Piero is really important. Inzaghi is good and he needs a partner--that's Del Piero! In my opinion, they're good partners and I think most of the fans would have this wish--Del Piero, Please return to the field! This corner is written after I saw the match of Holland VS Italy in Euro 2000. Del Piero could finally impress Zoff and be placed in the first team. The match was exciting. You know, Itay played well in defence while Holland made a lot of exciting moments which almost stopped my heart beat. ha ha... The one who touched me most in the game is neither Del Piero or Toldo (of course, I love them 2) but Nesta and Cannavaro. They played so well in defence especially Nesta. Italy played excellent and I hope that they will defeat France in final. Love you Italy!!!!!(30/06/00)

This passage is written at 3/7, the date after the final match of euro 2000. People keep blaming Del Piero lost 2 chances but why don't they think about his situation? Does he want to lose that? He's an Italian and he wants to score for Italy. He is under high pressure cos everybody gives him big expectation. Someone e-mailed me and asked "will you still support Alex?" and I replied certainly "WHY NOT???". Alex has done his work and he did a lot more on the defence. He stopped several passes from Zidane. Without him, Italy might lose within 90 minutes. Please don't ask me if I will still support him after the match because my answer is certain--yes!
