Mixed Clips

This weeks show begins with lots and lots of clips. First clip is of Hogan ripping on Jay Leno from last week. After that they show a clip of Eric Bischoff's Night Cap. Then they show Marcus Bagwell and Scott Steiner attacking Rick Steiner. Next they show Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in the brawl that the rest of the NWO (both sides) joined in on. They follow that up with a clip from the end of the tag title match from last week, with Bret Hart getting into Sting's face. Next they show Diamond Dallas Page laid out in the back, while Bret Hart is calling him out so they can settle who is the US champ. And finally...they show some clips of the US title match between the two men.

Announcers

We then go to the announcers. They tell us that DDP has returned from his injury (that he got on the last show, so he was never really missing) and that Page wants to face Hollywood Hogan tonight.

nWo Hollywood Interview

Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Scott Hall, Scott Norton, Brian Adams, Vincent and the Giant come to the ring. Scott Hall challenges the NWO:W to an elimination match for the next PPV. Brian Adams gets the mic and says that he is going to beat Goldberg for the World Title to prove that the whole Goldberg thing is a fluke.

Raven Interview

We go to the ring where Raven is sitting in a corner and the Flock is leaving the ring. Raven cries until Saturn comes out and enters the ring. Before Saturn can attack Raven, Kanyon comes up behind him. Saturn drops Kanyon and goes after Raven. He picks Raven up, but puts him down when Kanyon again comes up to them. Saturn drops Kanyon again as Raven and the Flock leave.

Barbarian(w/Jimmy Hart) vs Jim Duggan

Pure brawl, with neither man using any wrestling moves. Hart jumps onto the ring apron, but gets nailed by the Kick of Fear by Barbi, when Jim ducks. Jim then rolls Barbi up. DUGGAN WINS. Hugh Morris comes out and attacks Duggan. Meng comes out and attacks both Barbi and Hugh. When just Jim and Meng are alone in the ring Meng attacks Jim when he offers his hand in friendship.

nWo Night Cap

When we return from commercial we go to the NWO Night Crap set. And we pretty much stay there for the next 25 minutes. Eric makes fun of Leno again (just like last time). But this time instead of the segment ending when he is done, he has Hollywood Hogan come out as his first guest. He then shows clips of the Jay Leno show, with Jay ripping on Hogan. From there they show clips from the Jay Leno show of the Jay Leno show showing clips from the last Nitro. Hogan then says that Leno has "one more chance" or else Hogan and Eric will come after him. Eric then tells all the fans at home (and by all the fans he must mean the kids as well) to crack open a beer and enjoy the rest of the show. So now WCW is telling minors to drink? And I thought the WWF was pushing the limit.

DDP Interview

Mean Gene then talks to Diamond Dallas Page. Page says that it was Hogan who had attacked him last week. He also says that it is his goal to rid the world of the self-proclaimed God of wrestling.

Scott Norton(w/Dusty Rhodes) vs Jim Neidhart

The match is shorter then many Goldberg matches. Bell rings and Scott nails Jim with a Power-Bomb. NORTON WINS.

Bill Goldberg

They then take a special look at Bill Goldberg. We go to the locker room where security is waiting for Bill so he can go to the ring and do an interview. They open the door and the room is thrashed, with NWO spray painted on the walls.

Bret Hart Interview

Bret Hart comes to the ring. He says that everybody will get a shot at his US title. He says that the whole thing with Sting last week was a misunderstanding. There is only one man in the locker room that Bret respects more then Sting and it is because of Sting that Bret has not fully joined the NWO:H. He finishes by telling Sting that he is his friend.

*CruiserWeight Title Match*Chris Jericho vs Dean Malenko

The match is long with lots of great spots and a real quick pace. Jericho goes for the Liontamer, but Dean makes it to the ropes. Dean nails Chris with a Power-Bomb and then goes for the Texas Clover Leaf, but this time Chris makes it to the ropes. Chris roles out of the ring and puts some "knucks" on his hand. When he returns to the ring Dean starts pounding on him, shoving the ref out of the way (and hitting him in the eye). While the ref is distracted Chris misses with the knucks and Dean gets them. Dean nails Chris with them, but the ref sees it and DQ's Dean. JERICHO WINS.

Curt Hennig(w/Rude) vs Steve McMichael

The announcers say that this is a battle of the former Horsemen and that Steve is attempting to avenge Hennig's leaving the group for the NWO. He fails in this real short match. Hennig nails the Hennigplex on Steve. HENNIG WINS. As Hennig heads for the locker room it is clear that he is bleeding from the mouth.

Hogan Interview

Hogan, Bischoff and Ed Leslie come out. Hogan says to Page that "I am going to ride you really hard and then hang you up wet." That could be the sickest thing I have ever heard Hogan say.

Hogan/Rodman vs Malone/DDP(ReRun from BATB)

They then reshow the main event from the Bash at the Beach. When the match is over the announcers say that it was not the whole match, because the NWO edited parts out. I did not notice because as soon as the match started I turned the channel to Raw. I did not enjoy the match the first time, why would I want to see it again.

Goldberg Interview

Goldberg then heads to the ring, surrounded by ten security guys. The announcers talk about how Bill always "walks alone." Mean Gene does an interview with Bill. Bill says that the NWO has crossed the line and that tonight he will make an example of Brian Adams.

Arn Anderson Interview

Mean Gene then interviews Arn Anderson. Arn says that he was going to use tonight to figure out if the Horsemen should return. But since Dean lost to Jericho and Steve lost to Hennig then the answer is no. He also points out that Chris Benoit is at home healing from a bad injury and that his "best friend" (Ric Flair) is also sitting at home.

Sting vs Scott Hall

Sting starts in charge and pretty much dominates the entire match. He nails 3 Scorpian Splashes and then a Scorpian Death Drop. When he goes for the Scorpian Death Lock, Bret Hart comes to ringside. Sting leaves the ring and goes after Bret, who never defends himself. Hennig and Vincent then come out and attack Sting. The rest of the NWO:W make the save and everybody fights while Hart sits in the corner of the ring and watches. After the ring is cleared Sting goes for a Death Lock on Hart (who has still not hit Sting), but Hart escapes it and leaves. DQ (in case you had not figured that out).

Scott Steiner & Buff Bagwell Interview
They then reshow Scott Steiner and Marcus Bagwell attacking Rick Steiner. Mean Gene announces that he is going to interview the Steroid brothers. Scott comes out pushing a wheel chair, with Buff in it. The chair chrashes and Buff acts hurt again. They then jump up and flex alot. Scott accepts his brother's challenge. JJ Dillon comes out and says that he is really disapointed in Bagwell. He then says that he will do everything in his power to sign the Steiner match. Marcus grabs the wheelchair and leaves and Scott calls after him (Marcus acts like what Dillon said really got to him).

*World Title Match*Bryan Adams(w/Vincent) vs Goldberg
Security again walks Bill to the ring and the announcers again talk about how Bill "walks alone." Brian attacks Bill to start the match, getting almost a minute of offense, including a suplex. Bill then Spears Brian. Vincent enters the ring and gets Speared. And then Bill Spears Brian again. Jackhammer is all that is left and BILL WINS bringing his total to 121-0.

Hollywood Hogan(w/Desciple) vs DDP
Page comes to the ring limping. The two men take turns being in charge of the match, with is nothing more then the usual for Hogan. Page nails the Diamond Cutter on Hogan, but before there is a count (surprise surprise) the NWO:H attack him. Lex, Konnan, Nash, and Sting make the save and both sides fight. Goldberg then comes out and starts to clear the ring of the NWO:H. Giant follows him out and attacks him. The Giant nails Bill with a chokeslam as the show goes off the air.
