Welcome to my webpage. I am a school teacher at Union City Community High School in Union City Indiana. Union City is in east central Indiana, right on the Indiana/Ohio state line. In fact half the town is in Indiana and half of the town is in Ohio. This creates some unique situations, such as two time zones for half the year, two school corporations, two mayors, two police and fire departments, etc.
My wife Tina and I have been married for 26 years and have three sons. Mark (22)is a sr. at Purdue University, Joe (20) is a soph. at IU, {AJ} Adam(17) is a jr. in H.S. All three were or are active in school and in sports.
I am the wrestling coach at Union City. I just finished my 27th season with the team. I have been the head coach for the last 18 years and have compiled a 235-104-1 career record. I am also the junior class sponsor and just completed my 27th prom! I hope you have time to visit the links.


I have many hobbies that keep me busy.

  • I have a 1929 Model A Ford that works when "IT" wants to. I love old cars and going to cruise-ins. Over Christmas I purchased a 1964 Ford F-100 Pick-up. We call it "Cream Puff" and should be a real sweet ride.

  • My brother and I work on our geneology quite a bit.

  • I enjoy participating in the Preservation Society and working as an actor portraying famous citizens of Union City's past. We portray these people during "walks" during Union City's Heritage Days in August.

  • I enjoy woodworking and have quite an extensive shop.

  • I have also been the Defensive Coordinator for the Indians Football team (now retired from football)and coached the 7th grade team for 6 years (also retired from that!)

  • I was the President of the Union City Alumni Association for thee years.

  • As you can probably tell I am a HUGE Notre Dame football fan. This is the year that starts what we have all been waiting for, the climb back to the National Championship!
