Roberto Traven won the absolute division at Abu Dhabi earlier this month. All of the Brazilian present got together to pick one person to represent them in the absolute, and they picked Roberto. I think this shows the great respect and honor for Roberto that the fighters have.
The Master Atlanta team went to Auburn earlier this month for the quarterly Jiu-Jitsu tournament, and came home with vertually all of the trophies. We will list the details as soon as we get them.
Some of the Master Atlanta team members fought in the Submission Fighting Open in Griffin Ga last month. The team had 10 fights total. They won 9 of their fights, and 8 were won by submission. The winners included Samual Joseph (arm bar), Bull Shaw (2 rear naked chokes), Robdrigo Medeiros (armlock, armbar, both in under 40 sec.), Byron Stone (armlock), and Phillip Smith (rear naked, armbar). Congradulations to all of the guys.
