Sunday 8 September 1996
A meeting was held for the Inter Tifosi of the sister Island of Gozo at the Gozo Sports Complex. Minutes of the previous meeting held in Gozo on the 4 February 1996 were read after which various members present asked questions to the Committee. A word of thanks goes for Mr Joe Bajada who provided the hall for the meeting.

Tuesday 10 September, 1996
During an official dinner given in honour of the popular Italian singer IVANA SPAGNA, who came to Malta to give a ‘live’ concert, the President of the Club Mr John Zammit took the opportunity to present a banner of the Inter Club Malta to the singer. Ivana Spagna is a keen Inter fan and she was very pleased with the presentation.

Monday 16 September 1996
The Club Committee met and discussed, amongst other things, the progress of the new Club premises in Santa Venera.

Thursday 19 September 1996
The Vice-President Mr Lawrence Cutajar attended a meeting at the Maltese Premier Football Club Hamrun Spartans on the organisation of a soccer tournament between the various Maltese Supporters’ Clubs.

Friday 27 September 1996
A dinner was held for Members of the Club at the Melita Restaurant in Balzan. Special thanks go to the proprietor of the Melita Restaurant, Mr Manuel Calleja, who offered two silver plated frames to be raffled during the dinner.

Sunday 29 September 1996
As part of the official opening of the new ‘Victor Tedesco’ football ground in Hamrun, a team from the Inter Club Malta took part in a ‘Knockout’ competition against three other Maltese Supporters’ Clubs. Our team defeated the Juventus Club (Malta) 3-0; but lost the final against the Manchester United Supporters Club, with a similar score !

Tuesday 1 October 1996
Inter Club Malta was invited for the official opening of the ‘Victor Tedesco’ Ground. The Vice-President Mr Joe Schembri, the secretary , Mr Samwel Attard and the treasurer, Mr Angelo Schembri attended.

Monday 7 October 1996
Telecommunication equipment and a dish antenna were installed at the present Club’s premises in Floriana to enable members to watch Inter matches ‘live’.

Saturday 12 October 1996
The first ‘live’ match was watched by the numerous members present at the Club. The match, Inter - Piacenza ended 2-0 for Inter; with goals coming from Branca and Djorkaeff.

Monday 14 October 1996
The contract for the new Club premises in Santa Venera was signed.

Monday 14 October 1996
Another Committee meeting took place.
