SPRING 1978
Cathy Essen Miles
Cathy Miles has been a part of the Epsilon Omega chapter since Spring 1978. She was the tail and #8 of the line. She has brought countless parts of enthusiasm to the love of band through Tau Beta Sigma and through our chapter. She has done so much service as a member of the National Board of Trustees and as the Northeast District Counselor. She has also received the prestigious Wava Banes Turner award. She has taken her role to numerous levels as she has serves as our Sponsor. Cathy Miles has gone above and beyond her call for duty and that is one of the main reason why we have extreme ardor for her. She is certainly a sister that everyone can love and follow her example. She is one of the members of the Epsilon Omega chapter that allows us put the label of "prestigious" behind. As mentioned by our National President, Sylvia Halbardier, "Cathy Miles is the epitome of sisterhood" and we love her for it!



Fall 2000
Tanyka Young
"Pik-a-tude"
Tanyka R. Young is also a Biology major who plans to make a career in medicine. She entered Morgan State University in August 1999. She plays the clarinet in the Morgan State University's Marching Band, Pep Band and Concert Band. Tanyka is from Queens, New York and finished as the #1 out 6. She is a strong minded sister who portrays extreme love and dedication.


Janissa Battle
"Big Meowth"
Janissa M. Battle is from Columbia, Maryland. She is also an Elementary Education major. In the Marching Band, Pep Band, and Concert Band, she plays the trombone. Janissa is our chapters sweetheart. Janissa possess many traits of kindness. She entered the Epsilon Omega chapter on November 9, 2000 as the #3.


Kortney Clark
"TauMander"
"A cheerfulness at all times and under all circumstances even in the face of great trial." Kortney J. Clark holds the #4 out of the 8 essential factors true in her personality and dealings. As President of the 2001-2002 active chapter and future educator she holds this quality true. Kortney is also the #4 from Fall 2000. She is from Williamsville (Buffalo), New York and plays the Piccolo in the Morgan State Marching and Pep Band and she plays the flute in the MSU Concert Band.


Saidah Johnson
"Giggly Puff"
Saidah Johnson is the #5 from Fall 2000. She is an Elementary Education major from Willingboro, New Jersey. Saidah plays in 4 out of 5 Morgan State University bands, thus making her one out of three females in the jazz band and one of few females in her trombone section. She adds a special kind of flavor to the chapter as we are not always sure what to expect from her, but with everything she does it she has a smile on her face, letting us know that, "Saidah means happy" hence "Giggly Puff."


Fall 2001
Nicole Reese
"RBI"
Nicole M. Reese is from Bowie, Maryland. She is the #1 from our three newest members. In the band, she plays the alto saxophone. Nicole is a telecommunications major. In her short time as a member of the chapter, Nicole has become an example of the essential factor #2, "Demonstrated loyalty and dependability to those persons and institutions deserving of it". She loves Tau Beta Sigma as well as her chapter.

Dannielle Hutchnson
"Passions"
Dannielle Hutchinson is a theater major from Middletown, New York. She is very new to the bond. She has many new and creative ideas. In the Magnificent Marching Machine Dannielle plays the trombone. Dannielle is very outgoing and she has blessed the chapter with shows her warm personality.


Sheryl Dias
"Bold and the Beautiful"
Sheryl Dias is a Industrial Engineering major from Fort Washington, Maryland. She is very new to the bond. In the Magnificent Marching Machine Sheryl plays the clarinet. Sheryl is a very sweet and loving person who makes friends wherever she goes and has blessed the chapter with her warm spirit.
