| This part of the page will let you know what I thought of stuff that I've seen. I don't just watch the mainstream stuff and new releases. I want to be educated about movies. I feel the need to know where stuff has come from to understand better the movies that come out now. So I try to get a good cross-section of films, foreign and domestic, new and old. This doesn't mean that I don't take the time to see fun movies, but I know that I like good movies. | ||||||||||||||
| You can't just sit and watch a movie. If you just get the story and a little of the excitement out of it, you really haven't seen the movie. There is so much more to a movie than the surface. You see something that looks cool, but then consider that it is a well executed shot that you've just seen. It took time to set-up and execute and the way that you see it is exactly the way it was meant to be seen. There is so much weight to a movie that you can't get out of watching a movie, you really have to see it. | ||||||||||||||
