: : : I was thinking about all the contradictions in the bible, and
the one I couldn't find was a mate to the Sodom and Gamora myth. Is homosexualuty
wholy frowned upon by the Christian faith? I know it was normal with the
Greeks, but were they the only people to accept it as normal?
: : : A side note, I got a new pair of sandals, and was sorely tempted to take a picture of them with me inside, but since I have neither a digital camera, a scanner, nor a person to share a carbon copy with, a picture seemed moot. Oh well; rogue of the board i will always be.

: : In the Bible, In Romans (can't think of the exact chapter and verse),
St. Paul condemns men, who "burn with lust, one for another." This has
been used as yet another justification for the evils of homosexuality.
But consider what was actually said, the condemnation was one man, "burning
with lust" for another, not one man having love for another. Lust is fine,
I like to lust, but after awhile guys, it does get boring.

: Hi DPY,
: Exactly! LUST, ABUSE ... with mankind (males) is recorded in each
and every instance of the Bible concerning homosexuality.
: I'm Christian and thankfully the Bible is absolutely SILENT on gay
LOVE matters.
: By the way, it's Romans 1:26

Hi, Peter in Hong Kong! Peter, don't forget Matthew, Chapter 19, where Jesus says some men don't marry because they are "born that way". This passage has been translated so may ways, but I read that translation once as perhpas being very accurate. Love is of the spirit, and the spirit is neither male, nor female.
