I have recently found out from a friend of mine that I have a neurological condition called synesthesia. Don't worry, it's nothing bad. Synesthesia [syn-es-the-sia] means "a sensation produced at a point other than or remote from the point of stimulation, as of a color from hearing a certain sound". For me, this translates into: the letters in the alphabet and numbers all have their own specific color that they have retained for as long as I can remember. For example, here is what the alphabet looks like to me (this is approximate because I can't seem to get the shades right in HTML):
