AMCE has
been established in NITIE which has been widely acclaimed
nationally and internationally for providing management
solution to industry. NITIE has been established in 1963 with
UN assistance through International Labour Organisation.
AMCE is
supported by a multi-disciplinary faculty with experience in
diverse industries and solving live industrial problems.
AMCE has
been established for propagating new trends in technology and
manufacturing management in industries in order to increase
their flexibility in the changing market scenario and
increase their productivity with the given resources.
Objectives
- To provide high technology
base in CAD/CAM and MRPII/ERP and make a centre of
excellence in manufacturing,
- To bring awareness to
industries of potentialities of CAD/CAM technology and
use of MRPII concepts, its use for productivity
improvement, for training to industrial personnel and
setting up pilot projects for industry needs,
- To undertake consultancy
independently or jointly with industries on CAD/CAM or
MRPII areas, and
- To provide good and
state-of-the-art awareness of future trends in CAD/CAM
and operations management.
