Welcome To my Garage
Here are some pics of
my 88 1/2 samurai. I have named her THESWAZUKI. Thanks, to
one of my best
friends Lori. I know she’s not much yet, but I have just started
building her. So far
I have 1" shackle lift 235 75r/15's on stock rims. I just put
in a stock 30k motor
which runs like a dream ;-).
My future plans for
THESWAZUKI are: 3" spring lift/1" body lift, 31" tires, Toyota
motor and tranny(I
know she wont be 100% sami, but she will get up and go!!) hehe
I also am picking up
a second sami I might just go the toy route with the second
and just put in a
thorley header/torker cam. pony carb. Just have too many
things that sounds
nice right now. Anyway, I will soon be adding some more detail
pics of things in the
future. Check out the links. They are excellent vendors and
their Knowledge is
vast. Thank also to everyone on the ca Suzuki list. everyone
has been extremely helpful in helping me with all my little problems. THX GUYS!!!
Up Date 6/13/2000
In October of '99 I
took over the topica suzuki list because the original owner and server could
not handle the
load of all the
traffic. I could not go without my daily ingestion of zuki contend and decided
someone had to keep the
list together and I
took on the responsibility. Man am I glad, If it wasn’t for the guys on the
lists at either
http://www.topica.com/lists/suzuki.4x4/
or www.4x4play.com lists, or scroll to the
bottom of the page and input the information there.
Well what I thought I
was going to do and what I now am going to do has changed
First off I have
bought a Dave cage, which will be installed sometime this week. man does it
look good.
I have also ordered a
pair of Folding Shackles from www.gotzuk.com
Thx Troy. I have removed my doors
so I can drive
doorless and I have also picked up a pair of conferr axel trusses/skid plates
I will be doing a
fold down windshield when I visit Ed Mikel before I go to Y2K ZOOKIMELT http://www.izook.com/zookymelt/main.htm
and also putting in a
rear loop addition to my Dave cage. Hopefully my new Hard Top will fit with the
cage installed. Oh well someone
has to try it.
The last thing I have picked up is a 1.6L 16v
motor which I will be installing very soon with the help of Brent at www.trailtough.com
