Hi! I am Caustoobh. I am from Assam, the gateway to the pristine seven sisters, the states in the northeast of India. I went to college at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. Currently I am a masters student in the Electrical Engineering program of Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa, USA.

I was born in the oil town of Digboi in the far east corner of India. Digboi boasts of Asia's oldest oil wells and the world's oldest working oil refinery. I split my childhood and schooling between Digboi and Dhaligaon, another oil town in Assam. Dhaligaon (or Bongaigaon as it is known by its closest railway station and important town) has India's first grassroots integrated oil refinery and petrochemical complex.
