The Roots
For those of us who didn't know, Black Thought is currently working on a solo project. It looks as though he has done tracks with Beans, Kobe Bryant so far. I guess we can also look forward to another emcee in theaters, Black Thought. The film titled, "Brooklyn Babylon" will be released whenever. Are we looking forward to seeing Black Thought's acting debut? I am.
Beanie Siegel
Beanie Sigel, "the man with the iron tongue" has dropped his album, "The Truth". I also have no idea how The Truth is doing either. I can say that many peeps bought the album, cause when I walk down the street all I hear is, "I speak the truth..." blastin out of of a pair of 15's. You can also hear Beans on Amil's new joint, "For Da Fam".
Major Figures
Major Figures, straight out of Philly, reekin havoc. The whole crew consists of Gilly the Kid, Ab Liva, Dutch, Spade, First Lady. Their first album dropped months ago. I have no idea how the album is doing in Philly. Oh, they are signed to Ruffnation Records. The video is out right now for "Yeah that us".
Philly's Most Wanted
Philly's Most Wanted dropped their first single, "Sucka", kinda blaze. Their next single, "Yall can't never hurt us" and "what makes me" is out now. "Suckas" Part 2 has just been completed in the studio, featuring Philly's main man, Beanie and also produced by The Neptunes. Their debut album titled, "Get Down and Lay Down" is completed. Philly residents keep ya ears open for some next ish.
