Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incoporated was founded on November 12, 1922 on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sigma is the ONLY sorority founded at a predominately white institution. Our Beloved Founders had the vision to birth a sisterhood that would unite all African American students on Butler's campus. We are over 72.000 women strong and growing everyday. Sigma Women continue to gracefully lead the forefront of our communities with quality service for continual progress. We believe in SIGMA because simply, SIGMA believes in us.......
