Individual Narratives

If it weren't for Pablo Borjas and Saturnina Morales Borjas, their children, and their children's children -- The family would not be here.  Their descendants owe a lot to this couple that lived life, brought new life into the world, and reared their children to have values.
Any new narratives are always welcome.

Pablo and Saturnina Borjas

Pablo Borjas was born in Mexico, and Saturnina Morales was born in Cuero, Texas.  They met on a farm near Three Rivers, which is near San Antonio.  After the two were married, they moved to a small town called La Parrita, near San Antonio.  After moving from La Parrita they lived in Three Rivers, Armeckville, Yorktown, and then finally Cuero.
Pablo was a farmer and a rancher, he also broke wildhorses.  Saturnina was a housewife, not to mention a devoted wife and mother, raising 11 of their 14 children.  Three children died in infancy.
Pablo was a good father and a great provider for his family.  They never suffered from hunger because he brought home and raised vegetables by the bushel full.
Pablo died in 1916 when the oldest of his children were still young.  This left his wife Saturnina with the job of raising her youngest children, of which she did a tremendous job.  Saturnina died in 1954 in Bay City, Texas.  Pablo is buried in the County Cemetery in Cuero, and Saturnina is buried in the Thomaston Cemetery in Thomaston.

Conchita, Pedro I, Torivio I

Pedro II, Torivio II

Very little is known of these Borjas children except that they did not live past infancy.  With the loss of Pedro I, and Torivio I, Pablo and Saturnina named two sons, Pedro (II), and Torivio (II).  More information is needed on these children.  Most likely the place to search would be Catholic Church records.

As far as we know Pedro II and Torivio II did not have any descendants, and so-far they only information we have found was marriage documents at the Dewitt County Courthouse in Cuero.  If you have any information about Pedro II and Torivio II it will be greatly appreciated.
