June 2001 observations
at 476 Grange Observatory
Recently Grange Obs. has returned active in astrometry, after a long period of discontinous observations.
Using new astrometric catalogues such as GSC-ACT, USNO-A2.0 and Tycho, as well as a new automatic measuring software, the Project Pluto's Charon, the comet C/1999 T1 and the asteroids 1990 SB and 2001 ME1 have been observed, reporting to MPC the following positions:

At dawn of June 29th the 4.5 magn. comet C/2001 A2 has also been observed (but not astrometrically measured); a 1-minute summed image of the comet, taken around 2:40 U.T., is shown here below along with the contour map showing an asymmetric coma of 5':
