The Music of Scott Joplin

The Music of Scott Joplin

Scott Joplin published his first piece of music, Please Say You Will in 1895, a piece that I have just found on the Internet. In his life time Joplin wrote many songs, most of which are here. The Sting means that this song is on The Sting: Special 25th Anniversary Edition, which is a re-release of the old album. It has no new songs; the tracks are just reformatted.

A few notes: Pieces from Joplin's Treemonisha are in the Treemonisha area of this site. Also, if Joplin merely "arranged" a piece, it is not included here.
