well this damn internet still survives 6 years since i started this page. too bad i haven't done much with it lately. been doing other stuff. but it seems like i'm staring the eye glaze marathon again this month before i get back to sheepandgoats and grrrandmas so this is a check in and update. hope this message finds everybody well. don't forget about this page yet--i am going to start to get it useful again. there are some certain things that i like to have available to people; links, writing, news of different sorts, images even. So i'm going to keep this up as a place where i can put stuff that can't be found at other places. there's a lot going on in this world and being on the internet is probably one of the worst ways i can think of to engage it. but it can be used as a tool to move a person from one place to another. so we're going to try and get some use out of it like that. here's some things that i'm working on that will probably be fleshed out in here in the coming months:
distributing the cd i recorded in june
putting up some poetry of mine and friends
statements from big mountain people that are superfluous or politically inappropriate to the BMIS webpage

updating links to political causes that i connect to

peabody has a proposal in with the federal government to expand its coal production and increase water pumping from N-aquifer through 2008. The gov is accepting comments through oct. 15. to find out how to put in your 2 cents check out www.blackmesawatercoalition.org

there's only one place i can find left to get the navajo times new roman font for free on the web. You best get it soon because the capitalist vipers are on the move. And you will surely want to have it installed already when danny blackgoat's roads to open doors website goes on line. the first all navajo webpage that we know of. if you know of any that i've missed let me know.
