To take a photograph is to capture a moment forever. A fleeting glance at a scene or an event rarely yields an image strong enough to hold in ones memory for very long, but having captured such an image on film allows one to become fully engulfed by the power of a vision, the humor of some strange occurance, or the beauty of a subject. The physical photograph can be destroyed, but the image that photograph displayed, having been examined, may live as long as it's viewer.
