MINISTRY EFFECTIVENESS
"Who's Really Doing Evangelism?"
According to a survey done by Christianity Today, out of 1500 readers surveyed, 27
percent of the respondents engage regularly in motivated, intentional witness for Christ.
An even larger group-just under 40 percent-report having some form of training in
Evangelism. Conclusion: training is imperative if Christians are to engage in a sustained,
intentional ministry in Evangelism.
Another important statistic is that first place in the training/equipping process goes to
EE International (23.90% of the respondents agree). EE International leads all other
ministries in Evangelism training of both church staff and laity (see chart).
Approximately half of those surveyed indicated that they wish for greater emphasis on
Evangelism in their church. Why? They need help! EE International , through carefully
structured teaching and on-the-job training, equips churches for an effective and fruitful
ministry of friendship, Evangelism, discipleship and healthy
growth.
