A Warm Greeting from Down Under 1959 saw a little spirit floating about in the vast universe looking for something to do, when all of a sudden it dawned on the spirit that it should come down to earth, as it had alot more to learn. Donning a female body suit I arrived very loudly in the month of April 1960, and so the games began. I of course could not remember what I had come for (sheesh I can't even remember where I put my car keys :-) ) but thus began my wonderous journey. At times whilst traveling, the road was very very bumpy and I started to get tired of climbing over all the boulders which seemed to plonk themselves in my way everytime I thought I had got a grip on things. (I have since learnt that I did the plonking myself) Along the road people told me "whom" I should be, "what" I should do, "who" I was, and slowly but surely "me" got lost under all the "I should be's" and life became painful, for it is very hard trying to be whom you are not. 1986 saw me make a huge decision and I left my country of origin. This too was a great learning experience of how greed and fear can spoil a very beautiful country, this country being South Africa. **hopefully time will heal all the pain there. If one man Nelson Mandela could endure such persecution alone and come out the other end as a tower of strength rather than an avenging angel then surely a whole country can pull together**. I came alone yet I brought a whole lot of "baggage" with me and so the searching continued. 1992 was one of the best years of my life .... my son was born. 1993 was the other for it was then my second gift was given to me, my beautiful daughter. I feel so blessed that I have been entrusted with guiding a soul until it can fly by itself and it was these wonderous events that finally brought me peace for I knew that the sins of the father could no longer be passed down to the child and so I went to look for me. I have had many teachers along the way, every person I meet teaches me something valuable about myself. The net is an awesome tool and I get to meet "family" all over the world. I love people and think we have to learn to start honouring each other and respecting our differences rather than trying to compete and trying to be the same. As the saying goes "viva la difference" NUMBERS has helped me to understand who I am, make informed choices, take advantage of opportunities and has brought positive changes to my life.
