Book is a labor of love. . . by "Papa Ton" for all of us and by me for
him. This is a product of decades of patience and experience.
Papa Ton has been compiling these bits of wisdom ( his own and by others
as well ) through the years, patiently writing them down in his “wisdom
book”, as I would like to call it. Here it is, finally, in book form
for each and everyone of us to enjoy and, hopefully, to live by as a guideline
to life.
Meiji
This Homepage is a my tribute to "Papa Ton", who lives his life always to learn more, and share his wisdom to all those who are willing to listen. He is loved and adored by his wife, his children and most specially by us, his grandchildren who shares a special bond of love and understanding. His words of wisdom, his "Gems of Thoughts" had been and will always be a constant inspiration to me and to all those who are fortunate enough to share precious moments with him. In addition to his own, he collected bits and pieces of wise words from the books he's read, songs he's heard, movies he's seen, famous speeches, ancient philosophy and anything that has left an impact to him, even from wise cracks of a little child. He would patiently write each of them down in his notebook as he encounter them. Of all things he taught me, i'll never forget how he always made me use the Dictionary instead of simply asking him for the meaning. Because of this, i learned self-reliance. This tribute is my birthday gift to my grandfather and dearest friend, Antonio Gonzalez Paulin (AGP). He will be celebrating his 85th birthday on February 19, 2000. How else can i show him, in behalf of my cousins, just how much we appreciate and adore him but to share to the world what he shared to us.
