Nashama is a Palestinian organization
located in Nablus which organizes voluntary camps in Palestine. In 1996,
1997, and 1998 Nashama organized the Nablus-program of the Birzeit
summer workcamps in cooperation with the Students Affairs Office of
Birzeit University. The program consists of voluntary work in cooperation
with the Nablus Municipality; cultural
activities; debates; a visit to a refugee camp; entertainment in the Jordan
Valley; a visit to Nablus' Old City and its famous Turkish Bath.

Nashama Aims
Nashama is a voluntary service organisation
The aims are to promote peace, international understanding and solidarity,
justice, social justice, sustainable development, and respect for the environment.
Nashama believes that all the people are capable of living together
with mutual respect and without recourse to any form of violence to solve
conflicts. The activities can be categorised by the following topics: international
volunteer projects, thematic seminars, medium and long term voluntary service,
education and training courses, individual trainee ships, solidarity campaigns.
