Birket Horemheb - 12/27/00 21:38:46 My Email:birket.horemheb@ancientsites.com | Comments: I enjoyed your web site you have here. I love the back drop you put on it. Some friends and I are working on starting a thread in the ArchaicKemet group about the joining of Upper and Lower Egypt. It will be a roll-play thread, but we want to follow history as much as possible. I just e-mailed this site to myself and my friends of help in our research. On behalf of everyone, Thank you for a great job. You by chance wouldn't know where I can find a site about the 3rd Dynasty? Have a great one. *S* |

And user friendly for the 6th graders here in Calif... who are knee deep in Egyptian scope and sequence for their history studies. Way to go. PS Why did you pick MerNeith for your name? I think we are related??? |

Some of it is known by me and much is not and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I have been in both Ramesses and Nefartittis tomb at Abu Symbel many years ago and marveled at the site and the massivenes of it. I was very very lucky to have been able to be there. These pages helped me in the knowledge that I am always interested or should I say obcessed with. |

Was she blind or disfigured in that eye, or was it simply a lost pieceof lapis lazuli? Thanks |

chris cleutjens - 03/24/99 02:17:09 My Email:chris.cleutjens@village.uunet.be | Comments: Hi, When I was ten years old. I asked my father to visit the Museum of Art and History in Brussels. He looked a bit scarred to me and some weeks later he dropped me off in front of this majestic building, told me he will be back in two or three hours... I went straight to the egyptian part, and a first dynasty stele got my complete attention... and ever since. When I was 20 I made a copy of Djets stele in plaster... looks good cause I am a very sceptic for myself. When I was 30 I learned to read hieroglyphics... When I was 40 I started bying books about early dynastic.. Now I am 50 and the connection early egypt and mesopotamia has all my attention. And at 53 I found your site and that after only a few months on the web. You really made me happy. Every contact/reply to talk about early dynastic period in egypte and sumeria is welcome. Sorry, got work to do... printing youre site... wonderfull! chris Cleutjens/Belgium |
