This pic is before the fire. We had actually already decided to move to town and had the house on the the market to sell before this happened. Judy was in her second year of college and I was taking a couple of classed at night after I got home from work. We wanted to move to town so that it would be a lot more convenient for both of us. We were ready for change, but not really this kind. |

Luckily, I had backed the pickup in under the shed and was able to get it out of the fire. We couldn't get to the car because of the intense heat and the electric line was right beside it with sparks flying from it. |

This next pic has Janelle and Lady, one of our 2 yellow labs that we had at that time. Lady had just had puppies and it was very cold, so Judy put a heat lamp over them. We believe that Lady must have knocked down the lamp and it caught the bedding on fire. Lady got out but none of the puppies survived. |

We only had liability on the car, so it was a total loss. |

Another view from the rear of the building. By the way, that pile used to be our fishing/skying boat, a total loss due to no insurance on it. |

I literally lost thousands of man hours on different shop projects that were in the shop. Follow the link below if you would like to see them. |
